The Dolphin House Marsa Alam trip brings together two of the southern Red Sea’s most remarkable snorkeling areas. Sataya is known for its wild dolphins and rich marine life, while Fury Shoal offers colorful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish. Together, they create a full day for travelers who want to spend real time in the water and discover the Red Sea beyond its coastal reefs.

Your Dolphin House Marsa Alam trip begins with pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Hamata Port. At the port, board the boat, collect your snorkeling equipment and life jacket, and meet the guide who will accompany you in the water. A short briefing covers the snorkeling plan, safety rules, and how to approach marine life without disturbing it.
As the boat heads into the southern Red Sea, the sea opens into deep shades of blue before Sataya Reef appears in the distance.
The first part of the day belongs to Sataya Dolphin House. Enter the water with your guide and explore the reef where wild dolphins are often seen moving through the lagoon. Their appearance is never planned or guaranteed, which makes every encounter feel different. Even when the dolphins are elsewhere, Sataya remains alive with fish and other marine species beneath the surface.
Return to the boat to rest and enjoy lunch prepared by the onboard chef. Water and drinks are served as the boat continues through the Fury Shoal reef system.
The second snorkeling experience has a different character. At Fury Shoal, the focus turns to coral formations, clear water, and schools of tropical fish weaving through the reef. Follow the guide across the snorkeling area, take time to notice the smaller details below, and enjoy one final swim before returning to the boat.
The journey back to Hamata Port gives you time to relax on deck before meeting your driver for the transfer back to your hotel.
The captain may adjust the sailing route or snorkeling plan according to weather and sea conditions. Dolphins live freely around Sataya, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.

No. The dolphins live freely in their natural habitat, so their location and behavior cannot be controlled. Sataya is well known for dolphin encounters, but sightings cannot be guaranteed on every trip.
If dolphins are present and sea conditions allow, you may have the opportunity to enter the water and observe them with the snorkeling guide. Guests must follow the guide’s instructions and avoid touching, chasing, feeding, or disturbing the animals.
Previous experience is not required. A snorkeling guide will explain the safety rules and accompany the group in the water. Life jackets and snorkeling equipment are provided.
Fury Shoal is known for its colorful coral formations, clear water, tropical fish, and varied marine life. It provides a different snorkeling experience from the dolphin area at Sataya Reef.
