Once the engine starts, the Marsa Alam desert becomes more than a view. You feel every turn on the track, see the landscape opening around you, and experience the scale of the Eastern Desert in a completely different way.
The Quad Marsa Alam tour is designed for travelers who enjoy active experiences and want to spend real time riding through the desert. Choose a sunrise or sunset departure, follow the natural tracks with your guide, and enjoy a quiet break with traditional mint tea at a Bedouin tent. Previous riding experience is not required, making the tour suitable for beginners as well as confident riders.

Hotel transfers, the quad bike, helmet, safety briefing, test drive, guide, and Bedouin tea are arranged by our local team, welcoming travelers to Egypt since 1978.
Your Quad Marsa Alam experience begins with pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the starting point in the desert. Choose a morning departure for the sunrise or an afternoon departure to see the desert as the sun begins to set.
Meet your guide, put on your helmet, and listen to a clear explanation of how to control the quad bike. A short test drive gives you time to become familiar with the accelerator, brakes, and steering before the main ride begins.
Once everyone is ready, the engines start, and the group follows the guide onto the desert tracks. Feel the ground beneath the wheels as you ride across the open landscape, surrounded by wide views of the Eastern Desert. Depending on your departure, the scenery will be lit by the soft morning light or the warmer colors that appear before sunset.
The guided quad experience usually lasts around two to two and a half hours, including the stops made along the route.
Take a break at a traditional Bedouin tent, where you can rest and enjoy a cup of mint tea before continuing the ride.
Return by quad bike to the starting point, where your transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
The pick-up time, route, and duration may vary according to your hotel location, weather, desert conditions, and operational arrangements.
Please bring: Comfortable sportswear, closed shoes, sunglasses, and a bandana or keffiyeh for protection from the desert dust.

Yes. No previous quad biking experience is required. Your guide will explain how to control the bike and give you time for a short test drive before entering the desert.
No driving licence is required. However, all drivers must follow the guide’s instructions and the safety rules throughout the experience.
Drivers should generally be at least 18 years old. Younger guests may be able to join as passengers, depending on their age and the operator’s safety approval. Please provide the children’s ages when booking so Respect Tours can confirm the available arrangement.
No meal is included. A cup of traditional Bedouin mint tea is served during the desert stop.
No. This experience focuses on the guided quad bike ride and a Bedouin tea stop. It does not include the jeep safari, camel ride, dinner, or evening show offered on the full-day safari program.
