Arriving in Bahariya, take a short local tour of the oasis. Walk among lush palm groves, discover natural springs, and see how desert life flows at its own rhythm. It’s quiet, slow, and deeply beautiful.

After breakfast, you’ll head out in your private 4x4 for an exciting day of desert discovery. Your first stop is the Black Desert, a dramatic landscape covered in volcanic sand and dark hills, a great spot for photos and exploring.

Next, you’ll visit El Haiz Oasis, where you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and have time to relax in a natural hot spring, a refreshing break in the middle of the desert.

From here, continue to the glittering Crystal Mountain, a small ridge filled with shiny quartz crystals, one of the desert’s hidden gems. Often called the “Jewel of the Desert,” it’s one of the most iconic stops on the way to the White Desert.

Then, continue to Agabat Valley, where giant rock formations rise from soft sand, shaped by wind and time. By sunset, you’ll arrive in White Desert, where strange white rock shapes rise from the sand. These formations have been sculpted by wind over thousands of years and are the highlight of Egypt’s desert landscape.

Enjoy a Bedouin BBQ dinner, sit around the fire, and sleep under a sky full of stars.

After hours of crossing the open desert, your first stop is Deir El-Hagar Temple, a small but powerful ancient site built by Roman emperors, standing alone in the golden sand. Its walls still hold detailed carvings, telling stories from thousands of years ago,  a reminder of how far Egypt’s history reaches, even into the deep Sahara.

Next, visit The Islamic Village of El-Qasr, a traditional mudbrick village with narrow streets and wooden doors. It’s one of Egypt’s oldest desert towns, and walking through it feels like going back in time.

By evening, check in at your hotel in Dakhla. Enjoy a calm dinner and rest after a full day of travel and discovery.
