This 4 Day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor combines relaxing Nile sailing with visits to some of the most famous ancient sites in Upper Egypt. The journey includes Philae Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Unlike fast-paced land tours, a Nile cruise allows you to experience Egypt at a slower and more enjoyable pace. The days are balanced between guided sightseeing, relaxing onboard, and scenic sailing through the beautiful landscapes of Upper Egypt.
With Respect Tours, Egypt Through Local Eyes, the cruise is carefully organized to provide a smooth and comfortable experience from beginning to end, including guided tours, accommodation on board, meals, and organized transfers throughout the journey.
This Nile River cruise departs every Wednesday from Aswan, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking for a relaxing and well-planned journey between Aswan and Luxor.

Upon arrival in Aswan, your Respect Tours representative will meet and assist you before beginning your first day in Upper Egypt.
The tour starts with a visit to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and located on a peaceful island surrounded by the Nile. Reached by a short boat ride, the temple is known for its calm atmosphere, elegant columns, detailed carvings, and scenic riverside setting that make the experience feel quiet and almost timeless.
Next, visit the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most important modern engineering projects, offering panoramic views over Lake Nasser and the surrounding desert landscape.
Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in its original granite quarry. The site offers a fascinating look at how the ancient Egyptians carved and transported massive stone monuments thousands of years ago.
After the visits, transfer to your Nile cruise for check-in and lunch onboard. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the cruise while enjoying the calm atmosphere of the Nile in Aswan.

Enjoy lunch onboard as the cruise continues sailing toward Luxor.
Arrive in Luxor around the afternoon before beginning your East Bank tour. Start with Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built in ancient Egypt, known for its enormous columns, statues, and grand ceremonial halls.
Continue to Luxor Temple, one of the most elegant temples in Egypt, beautifully connected to Karnak by the famous Avenue of Sphinxes and especially atmospheric in the softer afternoon light.
