Itinerary

Welcome to Egypt - The Great Pyramids Await

Your journey begins upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, where our representative will meet you and assist with all arrival procedures. Then, transfer comfortably to the Giza Plateau to begin your exploration of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks.

After a comfortable transfer to the legendary Giza Plateau, you'll stand face-to-face with the Great Pyramid of Giza, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure that have amazed visitors for over 4,500 years.

Walk around these incredible monuments with your expert guide, who brings the history of these monuments to life with fascinating stories about how they were built and what they meant to ancient Egyptians. Visit the mysterious Sphinx, carved from a single piece of limestone, whose enigmatic smile has puzzled people for centuries. Take memorable photos that capture both the scale of these monuments and your own sense of wonder.

After your visit, enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you will discover thousands of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun, displayed together in one place. Your guide will focus on the key highlights to give you a clear and meaningful understanding of what you see.

At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and overnight.

Traveler's Tip: Wear comfortable walking shoes for the sandy terrain around the pyramids, and don't forget your camera - the afternoon light creates beautiful photos.

🍽️ Meals: Lunch 🛏️ Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

Cairo's Hidden Layers: Museums, Citadels & Bazaars

After breakfast at your hotel, your expert guide takes you to three of Cairo's most rewarding and contrasting destinations.

Start your morning at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, one of Egypt’s most important museums, where over 50,000 artifacts tell the story of Egyptian civilization across 7,000 years. The highlight is the Royal Mummies Hall, where 22 kings and queens, including Ramses II and Hatshepsut, rest in carefully preserved dignity. Standing face-to-face with these ancient rulers is a powerful and memorable experience.

Continue to the historic Saladin Citadel, a 12th-century fortress overlooking the city. From its elevated position, enjoy panoramic views across Cairo’s skyline. Inside the citadel, visit the impressive Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known for its Ottoman design, elegant domes, and alabaster interior.

After lunch at a local restaurant, head to Khan el-Khalili, the city’s most famous traditional bazaar, dating back to the 14th century. Walk through its lively alleys filled with lanterns, spices, handmade crafts, and souvenirs. It is a wonderful place to experience the authentic atmosphere of Old Cairo.

At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Cairo for the overnight.

Traveler's Tip: Keep some cash handy for shopping at Khan El Khalili - bargaining is part of the experience and expected by local vendors.

🍽️ Meals: Breakfast & Lunch 🛏️ Overnight: Hotel in Cairo

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cairo and transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin exploring this peaceful Nile city, known for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery.

Start at the Aswan High Dam, one of the most important engineering projects in modern Egypt. Built in the 1960s to control the Nile’s flooding, the dam created Lake Nasser, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. From the top, enjoy wide views of the lake on one side and the Nile River flowing north on the other.

Continue with a short motorboat ride to Philae Temple, beautifully located on an island in the Nile. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this elegant temple features graceful columns, detailed carvings, and a peaceful setting that makes it one of Aswan’s most charming sites.

End your sightseeing at the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in its original granite quarry. This site offers a clear look at how the ancient Egyptians carved massive stone monuments, making it one of the most unique and educational stops in Egypt.

After completing your visits, transfer to your hotel in Aswan for check-in and overnight.

Traveler's Tip: Bring a light jacket for the motorboat ride to Philae Temple; it can feel breezy out on the water.

🍽️ Meals: Breakfast & Lunch 🛏️ Overnight: Hotel in Aswan

Early in the morning, begin your journey to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples. The drive through the desert offers a peaceful start to one of Egypt’s most impressive archaeological sites.

Built by Ramses II in the 13th century BC, the Great Temple is famous for its four colossal statues carved into the rock. Inside, detailed wall carvings tell stories of royal power, military victories, and religious devotion. Nearby stands the Temple of Queen Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor, equally remarkable for its elegance and symmetry.

Your guide will also explain how the temples were carefully relocated in the 1960s during the construction of the Aswan High Dam to protect them from flooding.

After completing your visit, return to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer directly to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.

Traveler’s Tip: Wear light layers for the early morning drive. The desert can be cool before sunrise and warmer later in the day.
