This 4-day Cairo tour for solo women is planned around what matters when you travel by yourself: knowing who will meet you, having reliable transportation, exploring with a guide you trust, and keeping enough personal time to enjoy Cairo in your own way.
The tour gives you a complete introduction to the city without an exhausting schedule. Ancient Egypt, the treasures of the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the beauty of Islamic Cairo are brought together in one balanced journey. Private sightseeing means the pace can follow you. Ask more questions, spend longer somewhere you love, pause for photographs, or take a break when you need one, without having to keep up with a group.
With Respect Tours, Egypt Through Local Eyes, your airport welcome, hotel, private vehicle, licensed Egyptologist, included meals, and return transfer are arranged before you arrive. You can also request a female guide and female driver, subject to availability. Clear plans, confirmed meeting details, and support from our Cairo team mean you can enjoy the independence of travelling solo while knowing that someone local is looking after the details.
Hi girl, welcome to Cairo! Your solo journey begins at Cairo International Airport, where a Respect Tours representative will be waiting at the confirmed meeting point. You will receive the arrival details in advance, so you know exactly where to go and who will be meeting you.
After assistance with the airport procedures, meet your private driver and travel comfortably to your Cairo hotel.
Once you have checked in, the rest of the day is completely free. Take a warm shower, unpack, order something light, or simply enjoy a quiet evening after your flight. There is no sightseeing scheduled today, giving you time to settle in and feel ready for your first full day in Cairo.
Girl’s Tip: Try to get a good night’s sleep because tomorrow includes plenty of walking, history, and photographs. Before bed, prepare comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and an outfit that will keep you cool around the pyramids.
🍽️ Meals: None 🛏️ Overnight: Cairo
Good morning! After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin your first full day in Cairo at the Giza Plateau.
Stand beneath the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, and hear how the pyramids were built as royal tombs more than 4,500 years ago. With a private visit, you can take your time, ask as many questions as you like, and pause whenever you find the perfect view or photograph.
If you would like to enter one of the pyramids, your guide can help you purchase the additional ticket. The passageways are narrow, warm, and steep in places, so this experience is completely optional.
Continue to the panoramic viewpoint to see the three main pyramids rising together above the desert.
Next, meet the Great Sphinx, carved with the body of a lion and the face of a king. Visit the nearby Valley Temple and learn how it formed part of the ancient royal burial complex.
Enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Inside, explore modern galleries filled with royal statues, everyday objects, and treasures from across ancient Egyptian history, including the collection of King Tutankhamun.
At the end of the visit, your private driver will return you to the hotel. The evening is free, giving you time to rest, enjoy dinner, or ask the Respect Tours team for a suitable evening suggestion.
Girl’s Tip: The Giza Plateau is sunny, open, and sometimes dusty. Apply sunscreen before leaving and bring it with you for reapplication. A breathable outfit, comfortable closed shoes, sunglasses, and a secure crossbody bag will make the day easier. Light makeup usually lasts better in the heat, while a facial mist or compact powder is useful before photographs.
🍽️ Meals: Breakfast and lunch 🛏️ Overnight: Cairo
After breakfast, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin a day exploring the mosques, old streets, and local markets of Islamic Cairo.
Start at the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a large fortress built above the city. Walk through the complex, hear how it protected Cairo for centuries, and enjoy the wide views from its elevated position.
Continue to the Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of Cairo’s most impressive examples of Islamic architecture. Its huge entrance, high walls, and grand courtyard create a powerful first impression. Just across the street, visit the elegant Al-Rifa’i Mosque, where members of Egypt’s former royal family are buried.
After lunch at a selected local restaurant, visit the Ibn Tulun Mosque, one of the oldest surviving mosques in Cairo. Step into its peaceful open courtyard and walk beneath the long arches that separate it from the noise of the surrounding city.
Finish the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where narrow lanes are filled with lanterns, jewellery, perfumes, textiles, spices, and handmade gifts. Browse at your own pace, ask your guide for help with prices, or stop for a traditional drink while enjoying the atmosphere of old Cairo. Shopping is entirely optional.
After the market visit, return to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Cairo.
Girl’s Tip: Wear a light outfit that covers your shoulders and knees, and keep a scarf in your bag for the mosque visits. Choose comfortable flat shoes for the stone floors and market streets. A zipped crossbody bag will keep your belongings close while leaving your hands free for photos and shopping.
🍽️ Meals: Breakfast and lunch 🛏️ Overnight: Cairo
Enjoy your final breakfast and take your time getting ready before checking out of the hotel.
At the confirmed time, your private driver will meet you in the hotel lobby and transfer you to Cairo International Airport. The Respect Tours team will plan the departure with enough time for airport procedures and your international flight.
Your 4-day Cairo tour for solo women ends at the airport, but you leave with new stories, beautiful photos, and the confidence of knowing that you explored Cairo on your own terms.
