After breakfast, check out from your Cairo hotel and transfer to the airport for your short flight to Luxor, known as the world’s greatest open-air museum.

Today is the moment you’ve been waiting for,  the highlight of your journey, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After an early breakfast, your group will travel to a special viewing area near Luxor, carefully chosen for the best visibility of the total solar eclipse. Before the event begins, join a short pre-eclipse briefing with your astronomer, who will explain the phases, timing, and safe ways to observe this rare phenomenon.

As the moon slowly covers the sun, the light around you begins to fade. For more than six unforgettable minutes, you’ll stand in the shadow of the moon during the longest total solar eclipse of the century. The sky turns deep blue, the air cools, and a ring of light glows in silence above Egypt’s ancient landscape.

Your Egyptologist guide will share stories of how the ancient Egyptians viewed the sun and the gods Ra and Amun, connecting this rare moment to the beliefs of thousands of years ago.

After the eclipse, return to Luxor for an evening of celebration. Join your fellow travelers for a celestial-themed gala dinner, a joyful night filled with good food, music, and stories shared under the stars.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, at Deir el-Bahari, an architectural masterpiece dedicated to one of Egypt’s greatest rulers. Its grand terraces rise gracefully against the desert cliffs, a powerful symbol of beauty, strength, and legacy.

On your way back, pause to view the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that have stood watch over Luxor for more than 3,000 years.
