Sailing the Nile isn’t just a cruise; it’s a journey through Egypt’s soul. This 4-night Nile cruise Luxor to Aswan is more than a holiday; it’s a journey into the heart of Egypt, where every sunrise comes with a new chapter of ancient history.
You’ll start where kings were crowned and gods were honored, at Karnak and Luxor Temples, then sail through time itself, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the tranquil beauty of Aswan. Along the way, you’ll walk through royal tombs, stand beneath sky-piercing columns, sail a felucca past Elephantine Island, and feel the hush of history all around you.
This isn’t a rush of sightseeing. It’s Egypt, unrushed, with everything handled for you: expert guides, delicious meals, luxury comfort, and seamless travel. Whether you’re a history lover, a dreamer, or someone simply looking to feel something unforgettable… the Nile is waiting.

Your journey begins the moment you arrive in Luxor, whether you're flying in from Cairo or being picked up from your hotel. A Respect Tours representative will be waiting to welcome you and handle all the formalities before transferring you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship, your floating home for the next four nights.
After check-in and lunch on board, the adventure begins. In the golden afternoon light, you’ll walk beneath the towering pillars of the Karnak Temple complex, one of the largest religious structures ever built. It's a sacred space that took more than 2,000 years to complete, a place where pharaohs, gods, and generations of builders left their legacy in stone.
As the sun begins to dip, you’ll continue to Luxor Temple, glowing softly under the evening sky. Once connected to Karnak by the grand Avenue of Sphinxes, this open-air temple feels like a cinematic stage where kings were crowned and festivals once lit up the night.
Return to your cruise ship for a freshly prepared dinner and your first peaceful night on the Nile under the same stars that once watched over the pharaohs.

After a hearty breakfast onboard, the day begins with a journey across the Nile to Luxor’s West Bank, the land of royal tombs and eternal rest. Your first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, where you’ll step inside the actual tombs of ancient pharaohs, including richly decorated chambers that once held the likes of Tutankhamun and Ramses II.
With your expert Egyptologist guide, you’ll unravel the secrets behind the symbols, artwork, and hidden passageways carved deep into the mountains.
Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a bold, elegant structure unlike anything else in Egypt, built into towering cliffs to honor Egypt’s most powerful female ruler. Before returning, stop for photos at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood silent watch for over 3,000 years.
Return to the cruise ship for lunch as you begin sailing south toward Edfu. Pass through the Esna Lock, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on deck with the Nile drifting quietly beside you. Dinner is served onboard, followed by a peaceful night on the river.

Wake up to the gentle movement of the Nile as your cruise glides south. After breakfast, you’ll visit the Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. This towering structure is filled with incredible carvings, massive stone gateways, and mythological scenes that reveal the stories and rituals of ancient Egyptian belief.
After exploring Edfu, return to the cruise ship for lunch and relaxation as you continue sailing toward Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, arrive at the Temple of Kom Ombo, Egypt’s only double temple, uniquely dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed god. Its twin symmetry, riverfront setting, and ancient surgical tools etched into stone make it one of the most intriguing temples on the Nile.
Before leaving, stop by the Crocodile Museum, home to real mummified crocodiles that were once worshipped as sacred creatures. Head back to the cruise for dinner and enjoy a calm evening under the stars.

Your final full day on the Nile cruise begins in the serene city of Aswan, known for its laid-back charm and stunning river views. After breakfast on board, your guide will take you to the impressive Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that transformed Egypt’s agricultural future and now stands as a symbol of national pride.
Next, visit the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still attached to its quarry bed, a rare chance to see how ancient Egyptians cut and shaped these towering monuments from solid granite. The cracks in the stone tell a fascinating story of ambition and innovation.
In the afternoon, it’s time to slow things down. You’ll sail aboard a traditional wooden felucca, gliding gently along the Nile as you pass Elephantine Island, colorful Nubian houses, and the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener’s Island. It’s a quiet, soulful contrast to the grand temples, and one of the most relaxing moments of the trip.
Return to the cruise ship for your final dinner on board and enjoy one last magical evening under the stars of Upper Egypt.

After a final breakfast onboard, it’s time to say goodbye to your floating home on the Nile. But your adventure doesn’t have to end just yet.
For travelers eager to end on an unforgettable note, we offer an optional morning excursion to Abu Simbel, the awe-inspiring twin temples built by Ramses II and dedicated to himself and Queen Nefertari. These colossal monuments, carved into the cliffs of Nubia, are among the most iconic and dramatic relics of ancient Egypt. Their precise relocation to avoid submersion under Lake Nasser is a marvel in itself.
If you opt out of the Abu Simbel visit, enjoy a relaxed morning in Aswan before we transfer you to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Whether you choose adventure or relaxation, this final day wraps up your journey with deep impressions and lifelong memories.
You’ll enjoy a 5-star deluxe Nile cruise ship with modern amenities, comfortable cabins, a rooftop sun deck, a restaurant, a lounge bar, and attentive onboard staff.
The cruise includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all served buffet-style on board. Bottled water and tea/coffee are also provided.
Wi-Fi is available in the lounge area and public spaces, though connection can be limited while sailing. For urgent needs, SIM cards with data are widely available.
