Terms and Conditions

This is our understanding and agreement with our client when they get to reserve with Respect Tours. 

Let us assure you that we do our best to offer you a wonderful and unique travel experience. 

Please make sure you read the following terms and conditions, as they affect your legal rights and govern your use of the services provided on this site. You will be bound by these terms and conditions upon making a reservation with us. 

Booking and Payment

Booking a tour with Respect Tours requires depositing confirmation of the reservation. The deposit amount will vary depending on the tour package. Any amount due should be paid before commencing the tour. Various methods of payment are accepted, including Visa or MasterCard, wire transfers, and PayPal. Also, remember that payment in full is required before commencing your tour.

Individual Bookings:

A 25% deposit of the total package price, “non-refundable,” is required at the time of booking during the normal season. However, a 50% deposit, “non-refundable,” is required during the high season, including Christmas, New Year, & Easter periods. 

The balance is due four weeks before the arrival date. 

Group Bookings:

A 50% deposit of the total tour package price is required at the time of booking for groups.

The balance is due four weeks before the arrival date.

Special Requests:

If you have any special requests or needs (for example, some food preferences, certain room types, and occasions), please inform us of your request at the time of your booking, with your understanding that we will save no effort to comply with and accommodate your requests; however, we cannot guarantee that we can meet your specific needs or requests.

Pricing

Our prices are determined according to different seasons, package contents, and accommodation class, i.e., budget, tourist, or luxury. The prices for any of the tours offered by us are all paid in US dollars (USD). The prices may vary at any point in time without prior notice because of changes in the currency’s value used, increases in suppliers’ pricing, new government taxes coming into effect, fuel increases, or any other unforeseen factor; any such changes will be communicated to you.

Cancellation Policy

We appreciate that everyone has other priorities. If you can no longer go for the chosen tour, you should inform us at the earliest opportunity. It is acceptable to write a notice of cancellation within the required notice period. All cancellations must be made in writing before your departure date.

Cancellation fees

25% of the total package price will be applied as a cancellation fee in case of canceling your reservation 30 days or less prior to your arrival date.

50% of the total package price will be applied as a cancellation fee in case of canceling your reservation 21 days or less prior to your arrival date.

100% of the total package price will be applied as a cancellation fee in case of canceling your reservation 07 days or less before the date of the tour.

Changes and Modifications

Respect Tours has the full right to change the itinerary of the tours booked because of unavoidable events, including but not limited to bad weather, safety issues, and government regulations. Changes will be made and communicated to the clients on time, and alternatives, if any, will be given. We reserve the right to change hotel/cruise accommodation at any time, but we assure you any changes will be made to the same or a better category of hotel/cruise available at that time.

Travel Delays:

Respect Tours cannot be held responsible for any travel delays that occur before your arrival in Egypt. Moreover, during your stay in Egypt, we will not be held responsible for delays caused by technical issues, strikes, bad weather, or any reason beyond our control. In some cases, we may also be forced to alter the tour itinerary to accommodate such unforeseen delays and/or changes. In this case, no refunds will be given for alterations unless you miss one of your tours. In case you choose to decline any tours or services, no refund will be paid for unused services included in your tour. 

Travel Insurance:

We highly recommend you obtain travel insurance prior to your departure. Every traveler should get all-inclusive trip protection, which includes trip interruption, medical, general liability, missed baggage, etc. Respect Tours shall not be liable to meet any expenses that arise because of a lack of obtaining the required insurance.

Travel Documents:

Travelers are responsible for holding a 6-month valid passport, entry visa, and travel documents and for meeting health requirements upon arriving in Egypt. For more information, please contact the nearest Egyptian embassy. Respect Tours shall not be liable for any consequences related to improper or missing travel documents.

Health and Safety:

We prioritize the peace of mind and safety of our clients. It is the responsibility of each traveler to be in good health and fit enough to join the tour. Physicians’ advice, medical conditions, and particular dietary requirements are necessary to be provided in advance. Respect Tours reserves the right to deny anyone who, in their opinion, may be a hazard and elicit a negative outcome either to themselves or to others because of his/her medical conditions.

Behaviors:

Respect Tours shall be under no obligation to deliver any service to any participant whose conduct is inappropriate, offensive, or disruptive or has the potential to compromise the health of other participants. This includes actions that could endanger other participants’ enjoyment or safety or breach the local culture and laws. Such a participant will be held responsible for their behaviors and all excess expenditures resulting from the tour removal. 

Photography & Marketing:

As you join our tours, you agree that the company Respect Tours shall own the rights to images and photos or video footage captured during the tour for any marketing or promotional purpose unless you contact us in writing and tell us not to. We respect your privacy and promise not to use any images embarrassingly.

Optional Activities:

Please be informed that there may be additional activities (optional) to do during your visit to Egypt that are not factored into your chosen bundle. Other local operators arrange these activities, which may have a risk. Respect Tours holds no responsibility for any problems or events that may occur during any extra activities that are not booked and carried out through us.

Liabilities:

Respect Tours makes all reasonable attempts to maintain your safety and satisfaction while traveling. We will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accidents, delays, or irregularities that may take place. This includes services delivered by third-party suppliers like airlines, hotels, or transportation. We will make every effort to ensure that all travel arrangements and services associated with the tours in your program will be carried out as specified. However, in some instances, we do not have direct control over the provision of services by suppliers, and we do not accept liability for errors and omissions of such suppliers.

Limitations of Responsibility:

Respect Tours acts as a tour operator. Our tours and arrangements are our sole property and cannot be reproduced in any form. In addition, although the partners are chosen with great care, we will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or any other irregularity that may be occasioned by any defect in any vehicle, accident, or any other form of error or default of any company and/or person engaged in conveying passengers, carrying out the arrangements of the tour, or otherwise in connection therewith.

Force Majeure

Respect Tours shall not be liable for any loss of its obligations under the said terms and conditions if such loss is because of events not within the control of Rocca Travel, which include, but are not limited to, any act of God, war, civil disorder, strikes, earthquakes, epidemic outbreaks, and governmental measures. We’ll assist in finding alternatives or rescheduling the trip, but reimbursement may not be an option.

Complaints, Disputes, and Governing Law

We try to go above and beyond what is expected of us, but if you experience any problems, please report them as soon as they occur so that they can be dealt with promptly. However, if the matter remains unresolved, the matter may be escalated, and a formal written complaint may be filed within thirty (30) days of the last day of the tour. We will investigate and respond to any complaints within a reasonable time. If any disagreements arise, the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt govern these terms and conditions and stress their jurisdiction and law. Respect Tours gives notice that any dispute, claim, or other legal proceedings regarding these terms shall be dealt with only in in the courts of Egypt.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Marquis Travel will try to uphold and protect the privacy of the clients of the company. We understand the importance of protecting our client’s data, ensuring that it is only used for organizing their travel and not exploited by any third party for marketing without their explicit consent unless mandated by law. We comply with several regulations regarding securing information and comply with several information safety standards.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation with Respect Tours, you agree to these terms and conditions and that you have read them carefully. You must keep checking these terms from time to time, especially if you are engaging in the activities that are covered by those terms, as they may change.

By using this site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and the terms of service. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
