After breakfast onboard, begin the morning exploring Luxor’s West Bank, one of the most important archaeological areas in all of Egypt.

Start with the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried inside tombs carved deep into the desert mountains. Inside the tombs, you’ll discover colorful wall paintings, ancient hieroglyphs, and scenes that reveal how the ancient Egyptians imagined the afterlife thousands of years ago.

Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, famous for its unique design built directly against the limestone cliffs. The temple tells the story of one of the most successful and powerful female rulers in ancient Egyptian history.

Before returning to the cruise, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the massive twin statues that have stood on Luxor’s West Bank for centuries.

Back onboard, enjoy lunch as the cruise begins sailing south toward Esna. During the afternoon, relax on the sundeck with tea while watching the peaceful Nile scenery, traditional villages, palm trees, and local life along the riverbanks.

The first stop of the day is Edfu Temple, one of the most complete ancient temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon god, the temple is known for its enormous entrance, tall stone columns, and remarkably preserved carvings that still cover the walls after thousands of years.

After the visit, return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard and relaxing with Nile views along the journey.

Later in the afternoon, visit Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely built for two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Located directly beside the Nile, the temple offers beautiful river scenery and a completely different atmosphere from the other temples visited during the cruise.

Return to the cruise for dinner before enjoying the traditional Egyptian Galabeya Party onboard, one of the most enjoyable evenings of the journey with music, dancing, and authentic Egyptian entertainment.

After breakfast onboard, begin the day with visits to some of Aswan’s most famous attractions and scenic Nile locations.

Start at the Aswan High Dam, one of the most important modern projects in Egypt, offering panoramic views over Lake Nasser and the surrounding desert landscapes of southern Egypt.

Continue to the beautiful Philae Temple, located on a small island in the Nile and reached by boat. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the temple is famous for its calm atmosphere, elegant columns, and beautiful location surrounded by the Nile water from every direction.

Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying inside its original granite quarry. The site gives a fascinating look at the incredible scale of ancient Egyptian stonework and how enormous monuments were carved thousands of years ago.

After the morning visits, return to the cruise for lunch and some time to relax before one of the most enjoyable experiences in Aswan.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional felucca ride around Kitchener’s Island and the Botanical Garden. The slow sailing experience, fresh breeze, and peaceful Nile scenery create a completely different atmosphere from the busy temple visits and make the perfect ending to the day.

In the evening, return to the cruise for dinner before enjoying a traditional Nubian Show filled with local music, dancing, and the vibrant culture of southern Egypt.
